I get it. A lot of people are put off by the idea of science. Often, it goes right back to a bad experience with the way science was communicated in school.
But seriously guys, this is not a reason to deny ourselves a toolbox that equips us to think more clearly, be more effective, and manage our emotions and stress!
I get a lot of feedback that goes like this;
"I didn't know if I was going to understand what you were talking about, but you've really helped me to understand my brain, and it didn't feel at all confusing or complicated"
"Wow... when you were talking about the brain, suddenly, I could see how it related to my partner and my colleagues"
This is the thing. If you're working with a low-resolution, grainy understanding of your brain, then you're going to be making low-level decisions, and you are not going to be accessing the clarity, creativity, and innovative thinking that your brain is capable of.
